My name is Jaime Yono Hamama and if you haven’t guessed it yet, I’m extremely passionate about children. I have been teaching at some capacity for 30 years. I have worked at various Montessori schools and for the last 18 years I’ve been helping schools build their low enrollment into waiting lists.
I love being a wife to my amazing and supportive husband Scott and a mother to my two amazing kids Jacob(18) and Marissa(15). I like to spend my free time with my family, cooking, reading, traveling and working out. I grew up attending Mother of God my entire life, having received all of my sacraments there. I have been an active member of both Mother of God and St. Thomas teaching communion classes, directing our VBS program, and various youth groups. I hold both of these churches close to my heart.
God gives everyone a vocation and for me it is to teach his children. It is my responsibility to not only teach your children the core subjects, but also to be a good human being, who loves God and knows that God loves us back. I am a hard-working and driven individual who is dedicated to her students. My personal mission is to be a good Catholic who loves and embraces all that I work with. I try not to judge. I work towards inspiring my students to not just know their faith, but to live their faith. I am fueled by the Eucharist and inspired through prayer.
