My name is Sasha Hannawa. I am one of the lead teachers in the toddler room. This is my first year teaching and I am truly grateful to be a part of such a wonderful beginning to our Chaldean Catholic schools. Teaching in an environment like this one has always been a passion of mine that’s why I pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education. I believe our children need more to our Chaldean Catholic faith and culture and this is the place for our growing little saints.
I am married to Jonathan and we have two beautiful girls, Sadie(3) and Mila(1). Although, I am new to this my girls have taught me so much about how much growth toddlers can achieve at such a young age. Not only have I learned from them but I have also lead a few Walk With Jesus retreats that molded me into the leader God wants me to be for His children.
I am so eager to follow Him and follow the path He has prepared for me. God will always be the center of my classroom and I am so passionate to share the love I have for Him to His children.
One of my favorite verses from the Bible is Matthew 18:3, “Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Children are so pure and innocent and it is my mission to allow them to grow into the person they want to become.
